13/01/2012: I discovered, quite by chance, this small wonder doing research on changing mat during my pregnancy. I was tempted by the advanced advantages Lilikim (exchange between child and parents through the incline of the treadmill at the bust of the child, sloping sides to prevent falls and limitation of reflux). That's four months that I use and here is what happens in practice: - On reflux: my daughter regurgitates time to time as it does with any changing mat. I find that the inclination of the bust does not change much. What needs to spell out .... (Clarify that I think is important: my experience on this point is quite limited, because my daughter is not prone to GERD repeatedly.) - Regarding increased security with sloping edges: it is clear that we must not put a changing pad beside a piece of furniture just because the sides of the carpet are curved. It would be tempting fate. But, positioned correctly and intelligently, these sides can prevent baby rocking side of the belt when he squirms. - Concerning parent-child exchanges: ahhhh 'Happiness! I spend some great moments with my chip on the carpet. Smiles, laughter, chatter eye to eye, pedalos galore ... GE-NI-AL !!! So, change a diaper takes much longer than expected, but I take up my little darling. It regularly happens that I put it on the changing table to play. These intimate moments are irreplaceable. As the carpet is inclined, no need to break the back to lean over to look at the baby's eyes. After 4 months of intensive use, I conquered. So much so that I offer a gift of birth to friends to help them live the magic moments of exchange with baby.
Only downside to this changing mat: its size. It is quite large (74 cm long). We must plan a plan changing accordingly.
02/25/2013: After 17 months of use, I'm still convinced by this article. As it is larger than most carpets, my daughter seemed small at first still above has room today! With the acquisition of motor skills, this little maggot who can not sit still when foreign exchange is still not gone overboard.
