For the size of WOW

So I think the Reveal 402 for the size and the price is really impressive. I like the ability to locate the stereo field (when the tweeters are positioned at ear level) very well. The detailing is very good - this is such a speaker with which some people surely find details in pieces that he has not heard before. Although I would not call the sound 'analytic' - rather something HiFi-standard - I have not soo the impression that they are perfect studio monitors ... because I know in the price range only the Fostex PM0.4d that mE rather on the sound characteristics 'monitor speakers' match.
The Reveal 402 mE play down amazingly well, which is probably on considering the front face large volume of the box is - in the dimensions they are almost as deep as high.

Unfortunately rushing the boxes something when they are switched on without signal - independently of the volume set on the potentiometer. I manage myself here with manually switch off when I do not need them.

I run the Tannoy Reveal 402 the way on wall brackets type "B-Tech - BT77" - holds wonderful. By bass reflex port on the front I imagine also that they are less critical when it comes to small distance from the wall.

Power LED is located on the back

some noise
No automatic shut-off when no signal
quite bright blue power LED (luckily at the back)
