Could directly with the G35 Logitech compare:
PRO:
-Light Weight (significantly lighter than the G35 from Logitech, which was not only expensive but also too heavy to me.)
-Good 7.1 (as "good" or "bad" as the competition) In any case, better sound than with normal 2ch Stereo.
-Bass Vigorously (here is the G35, however, much stronger) But explosions in BF3 still make her something!
Function Keys easily accessible
Processing okay; Piano lacquer finish
-Mikro Absolutely great; was never better understood; the international press has highlighted the micro 780er especially when, because it excellently filters the ambient noise.
-no annoying volume control on the cable; Cables sheathed in signal color (LAN!) And stable.
CONTRA:
-Setting The size on the ear cups and not on the bracket directly; that makes it any easier to find the perfect fit
Via USB port; the predecessor a mini sound card was there, in which one has put the mic; therefore incompatible with HiFi - amplifiers.
- Volume control on the Mac too coarse due to the USB port so
- No OSX drivers, therefore only stereo
- Slight rattling in the left shell ... does not interfere directly but is also not a selling point!
CONCLUSION: Those looking for a low-priced 7.1 headset with a super microphone, which is at the 780er really ..... meticulous people who should be on materials and workmanship rather hold in the "right" headphones out or try one of the local gaming headsets from 100 euros.
EDIT: With the right size, the headset fits perfectly, even after long sessions no problem, thanks to the light weight .... Super headset and favorable price! Would definitely buy again!
