After ten years of Amazon I write out my first review.
I bought after weeks of research and training in the subject laptop, said laptop with I3 in Warehouse Deal.
First to a praise to Amazon. Appointed on 11:02:15 12:02:15 delivery. Could not be better.
Packaging OK just as expected already been opened. But no problem.
The laptop is really a looker, I think. The piano finish, I personally find very beautiful.
Tastes are just different.
My first act was to share the vorahandene 508GB SSHD to a 250GB SSD from ...............
This is very easy on the very generous maintenance cover. Remove three small Phillips screws and remove lid.
Then you come to all major components.
A RAM disk is still free. this I will probably be equipped later with 4GB.
Old plate out new pure = lid finished. :-)
Now it was time to install.
Previously, I had all the drivers on the homepage Lenovo copied to a USB stick and the latest video drivers from Nvidia. (The driver from Nvidia is dated January 2015 and thus very timely)
I then inserted the Windows 7 Pro DVD and starting the installation. This is also not "nerds" :-) possible thanks to the good setup guide.
After 20 minutes it was installed.
Now it came to the establishment. Oh dear, the picture is indeed catastrophic. :-)
A look in the device manager also revealed why. There was still 7 devices with an exclamation mark.
I then made to it to and install on the driver. That worked well as far up on the wireless drivers.
God knows why it did not work with the driver that I have drawn from the homepage. He refused to be installed. After prolonged taste, I then used the enclosed driver CD for Win8 64bit and tried the driver. Lo and behold, it walks.
Then pass a virus scanner and Office 2007 I finished: I thought :-(
In the Device Manager an unknown device was still deposited.
If you go to details was standing there something Microsoft ACPI-compliant controller or so ählich.
It has a whole hour lasted this problem through various forums.
Microsoft does not recognize the German signature for this driver anyway. You have to manually assign them then.
What surprises me something that Windows is installed only a small update. I actually had with 100+ - counted, depending on what one reads here. Maybe my CD is very timely.
I do not have now a lot last night, except Google Chrome to install and set up what is actually already done a registration.

Many bothered by the impressive Full HD screen, because this reflects so.
People then you buy another laptop !!!
I think the screen is awesome. Very nice crisp colors with a resolution of 1920 x 1080th
It reflects not so bad as I thought. Clear in very dark images you see it already but for me not disturbing.
I just enjoy the picture. :-)
Power:
Here I can not tell much, because I have not made any test's is up to the Windows Performance Test, which failed itself very well. Graphics = 6.6 of 7.9 possible points. Perfectly adequate for me.
But I will keep an eye on and report when I once installed a few games or similar.
The boot process has been completed with the login screen and password input after 24 seconds
Chapo = My old FJ Siemens with XP starts about 2 minutes.
But who has the best times behind itself.
Operation:
- It can be operated intuitively how many things. Googling Only with the wireless on / off must be verifiable how this works.
- The F-keys are overlaid with the special functions, which can be changed apparently by a change in BIOS but. Do I need to make

Small update after 3 days in use.
Meanwhile, the major update of Windows wave came to me.
No fewer than 204 updates were there.
This was very inconvenient as it repeatedly to abort the updates came when configuring.
God knows why.
From Microsoft there was a bug fix tool (Hope I did it properly described), which one should run. but even this did not help :-(
Any updates could not simply with other .........
The solution was to install all the updates individually or in packages of 10-20 pieces. While this was a lot of work but nevertheless worked.
What has not worked so far is still the Ubuntu installation.
Something works because not having the partitioning. Unfortunately.
Well that I get out yet.
But all in all a very good device.
Games I still can not test.
