The shell itself is almost 125g heavy, so you come with Kindle on a total weight of just 335g. However, it contributes little to: closed the Kindle Cover with 19mm thick. Without shell is the Kindle with 9mm less than half as thick.
To read, you can use the shell in two different ways: either one is on the Kindle, by using the shell as a stand; or you work the front to complete to use the hand strap on the inside.
I mostly use the last variant. As I often read on the train this kind has proved itself for me. So I have the feeling that they have the Kindle more safely in their hands; even if jostled again or the drive is a little jerky, I need to be afraid to leave the Kindle accidentally fall.
At the beginning of the hand strap was a bit tight, so she pressed quickly. Meanwhile, however, the elastic band has widened slightly.
I particularly like also that the inside of the cover is lined with a material which is obviously something slipping. When I read on the couch with raised feet and the Kindle in the folded envelope lay on my legs, it does not slip down, despite the slope.
The sleep function does not always work reliably with me. However, this does not bother me further, because you can turn off the display, too over the corresponding button. In addition, I have my Kindle already set so that it automatically switches off the display after a certain time without any action.
Even after 3 months of continuous use is the shell no excessive use tracks. I've really every day in my purse or my backpack with me. Nevertheless, she does not have any scratches, stains or other quirks. The seams hal¬ten yet reliable.
I can assure all that often read with their Kindle on the go, only recommend this envelope. Hier¬für it is really suitable. It offers good protection of the device and also provides in turbulent situations for a secure grip.
To all who read mostly at home, I would not advise to this shell, as they still plotting something and it's not so important that the Kindle can be securely fixed (hand strap).
