After I with the Nikon 50mm (1.8) and the Sigma 105mm (2.8) have found my delight in the fixed focal lengths - the optical resolution and of course, the light intensity are just not much better as a zoom lens - I've also the Nikon 85mm (1.8) gained. On the D200 results by the crop factor, an actual focal length of about 125mm, the already highly structured images and reproduces full details. The size of the lens is very pleasant - not too small and not too bulky. And for a stop aperture of 1.8 is offered by the use in the Avaivable Light Photography at best. At most, the processing could have been a little more robust - as have the lenses of Sigma EX-series clearly a better performance, in particular because of their pleasant surface. Still, 5 stars.
