The book is very well written and distributed. The illustrations are very informative and support the understanding of the text. Anyone interested in a slightly scientific approach of cooking and not afraid of failed components (eg Sous-Vide, agar, etc.), is well served by this book. Mostly the production is quite expensive, but the flavor intensity makes up for that.
