+ Connection quality
+ Standard keyboard layout (large enter key)
+ Micro receiver can be vestauen in Tastaur
o perceived quality
- Buttons feel not very high
- Louder keystroke
- Optics (keyboard is very thick)
Conclusion: This is my personal price / performance winner from 5 tested wireless keyboards to 25. If you want to use the keyboard for a Media Center, I recommend the Logitech K400r. This gets you temporarily for 25 (or in the warehouse) and trumps the K360 again. More on that in my review of K400r.
### Introduction ###
First of all: I use on my main system an Apple Wireless Keyboard. Although I am not a big Apple fan but with this keyboard Apple has personally built for me a very good product (A link to the product is attached at the end). This keyboard is the reference for the evaluation of these Logitech K350 for me. I realize that the Apple keyboard costs about three times, but it may be interesting to the reader how this keyboard strikes compared and if it's possible a satisfactory product to buy a third of the price of an Apple keyboard.
I first ordered a CSL aluminum Micro Keyboard. There I was indeed surprised by the build quality, but the input lag and the keyboard layout was disastrous (To be fair, I must say that the keyboard layout, the Apple Wireless keyboard had to be adapted by software on my Windows computer at this point. Therefore bothered me mainly the Input lay).
Now to this Tastaur:
### First Impression ###
When unpacking me of came mixed emotions. On the one hand rather poor, since the keyboard is visually dragged by the spacing of the keys in the length, partly because the buttons have a shimmer "cheap" (The sculpture seems not very high). The accompanying manuals give asureichend information on the Unify receiver and Tasaturfunktionen.
### Setup ###
Plug and play. There were no problems (Windows 7).
### The Keyboard ###
The keyboard has no input lag. I'm glad to here especially. Even after longer pauses the keyboard starts off at once and also is taking rapid notation of all keystrokes. This is in wireless keyboards often not the case. Say the connection quality is very good.
The keystroke is fine. Although this is to low-lift keys, but the keystroke takes a little like chewing gum. Here would be improved. The keys feel somewhat hollow and clacking also loudly. This has bothered me a little at first and was the only point on which I have gehardert with me if I do not yet want to pull a star. But soon you get used to the keystroke. Only that the buttons I could not sugarcoat are too far apart for my liking me. Overall, you could save even 1-2cm in width also when the key would be together a little bit closer.
The layout is wonderful. At last a compact Ttastatur me a large Enter and Backspace key. The left CTRL key is exactly where it should be - Left Wing. Other manufacturers put there like the FN key. The keyboard would be almost perfect if there was a version without the useless for me keypad. Then the keyboard would also safely be described as "keypad". So it is unfortunately the largest keyboard in my test.
The keyboard allows himself two AA batteries which is fine with me. Thanks to the on / off switch, these are likely to be longer provide enough power. Unfortunately, the switch itself acts not particularly high. He wobbles properly and seems to be a little too small for the recess.
The Unifying receiver that comes with this keyboard is a great thing. Finally you need only one receiver for all 2.4GHz wireless devices which support this feature (which probably purely Logitech devices). However, the coupling of several devices work only with the zugehörtigen software that must be downloaded but on the Logitech site and is not included.
### Conclusion ###
All in all, this keyboard my personal winner among the tested wireless keyboards to 25. Here we see again that it is not called "Who buys cheap, buys twice". Of course everyone has to prioritize even if a perfect keyboard layout is more important than the external dimensions of a keypad or their Tastananschlag.
But if I may make a recommendation for a really good keyboard, then I would definitely recommend the Logitech K400R. This Tasatur has a perfect keystroke and an almost perfect key layout. In addition, it brings a touch pad instead of the numeric keypad. This seemed to me Although initially as meaningless, but for smaller actions, I use this even before I take you to mouse! And who can takes utmost care of this keyboard temporarily grab for 25!
### Compare Products ###
Due to the fact that I was unfortunately absolutely not satisfied with the product initially ordered by CSL I felt compelled to test several products in this price range (up to 25) in order to find an equivalent to my needs.
