As a layman, you can not usually say much on how well the CPU is working, but quad-core 1.5GHz clock speed and 2 GB of RAM is certainly not wrong. Especially if you have 700 MB of RAM occupied by at a few open applications, a 2GB large memory is better.
Display is sufficiently sharp and legible, to find any flaws, the color and brightness (automatic) like it very much.
The internal memory of 8 GB is fine insofar as that it can be extended to up to 64 GB, so no problem here.
From the feel of it feels very good, albeit very edgy on the page, by the design. Compared to the 5-inch model, which I had previously, it is really very easy to handle and yet I find that the screen is only slightly smaller. The surface is made of aluminum and gebürstetetem the P6 is very thin (not much space between aluminum and battery), leading to faster development of heat on the back leads. Is for me not yet be estimated how much that is disturbing me.
There are only 3 physical buttons, namely Entsperr- / or Off button and two volume control.
Visually, it is definitely very well done. Shapely, elegant, simple and that has something special when a cell phone is so thin.
Emotion UI: Is actually quite nice, but a bit strange at first: Each symbol is the same size and has the same (square) shape; there is no menu, everything is on the home screens (like the iPhone). One nice feature: Huawei provides various themes of, official and generated by users, who differ in background, icon design and Entsperrbildschirm. In addition, the UI has a built-in RAM Cleaner, the way power at your fingertips all running applications. (Right menu button to display the active apps)
Battery: No comparative figures. Was charged relatively quickly (
Authorization Manager: Quite interesting feature that offers only Huawei and has offered, because it did not like Google. With this application you can Apps subsequently revoke permissions and also inform the authorization manager when an app wants to access for example, contacts, or location. Surprisingly makes Facebook as most unwanted hits. (Also contacts, although they had rejected the synchronization!) For devices that were 4.3 and shipped later, the authorization manager no longer on board, because Google has made pressure, Weil's not being business conducive to get any data from users , (But remains on devices that ship with 4.2, even after system upgrade to 4.4 on it.)
Cameras: The camera on the back makes my opinion quite usable images. Highlight but rather the front camera, which is a very high resolution 5 MP compared. Makes a Selfie it shows a camera a small picture-in-picture and instructs the upper right corner, to look there.
Conclusion: the device via Amazon warehous Deals Have bought very cheap and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a technically good but not at any cost mobile phone.
UPDATE 08/12/2014: Please never update to EMUI 2.3, there is only worsening. The device "hangs" more often, no more authorization manager, the surface looks worse than 2.0, the themes are worse than before, etc. - Be careful, once you have made the update, the path leads back only more about root.
