So if you had to wait a little longer on your knife, like me, that was not to shoot-Club24 but, to you with great Wahrscheinlichkei.
I think it's great that the dealer alternatively the shipment with ID-site inspection by the DHL supplier has let make! After all, that means an additional expenditure for shoot-Club24 and the dealer would not have been forced to offer that, but would have me deal for weeks may be waiting for the knife, therefore: Full kudos to shoot-Club24. The boys and girls give themselves real effort and live the idea of service to 100%! Hats off !!!
To The Product:
The knife was neatly packed in a cardboard box with pretty Walther-typical design delivered.
In it was the knife itself, as well as a zeimlich quality Cordura bag. A belt clip is already attached to the blade so that it can be attached easily. Personally, I find the supplied bag practical, especially since the belt clip as some reviewers have already noted, affects the feel of the knife adversely. The clip was therefore removed and thus the knife rests only in your pocket. These can be hung around the neck both on a belt, a Molleöse or on an included nylon cord with Velcro.
The knife handle has a peculiar geometry (towards the end tapers the handle towards the blade being wider) is however excellent and securely in your hand. The Tanto can optionally open a attached to the back of the blade flipper, or using light pressure on the locking screws on the cutting blade. The Linerlocksystem closes and opens reliably, and surprisingly smoothly (the resistance is large enough around the lock is not inadvertently open, but low enough to the knife to fatigue frequently open and close). Opening and closing go the same speed of the hand, I welcome in this regard the Flipper on the back of the blade. This can be used when closing the knife as mechanical protection, so you do not accidentally cut the one-handed closing.
The blade itself has been coated with a protective lacquer (at the price a titanium, Teflon or graphene coating is also hard to get) who unfortunately easily removes the sharpening. If the slip angle are adhered reasonable, but the loss is minimal and also to recognize only the second look. The alloyed with chromium and molybdenum-13 or even 440 Standard manganese steel is durable, corrosion resistant and relatively hard. The use of field factory was more than adequate in my case, I can also produce razor sharpness with a correspondingly fine-grained whetstone and a strop besides polishing paste.
The blade geometry is particularly useful if you frequently cut cartons, packaging or Versaielungen, but I have thus eaten a steak, and smaller carvings executed :) The half serrated blade is made mediocre. I would have liked a continuous V-cut. With a little practice the rest of the cutting edge of the blade reached out absolutely. The glass breaker at the end of the handle is not reversible, which is a shame because I'm assuming that he survives a maximum of four, six maybe 10 fractures. After that is the thing probably stump.
Together with my Leatherman, it has become the Walther TK my constant companion on the belt and has my beloved Columbia Einhandmesser that was already of good quality, now replaced. Keeping in public is actually not allowed in this knife, as the Flipper and the screws on the blade allow one-handed opening and closing, and at the same time can be worn concealed.
In practice, I've never been checked for security should be the part but only at Görtel or in his pocket to transport hanging on the location of its use around the neck.
Largely because of the excellent price performance ratio I can here impose a 100% buy recommendation!
