Top lamp, accessories flop!

The Riff TL-3000 MK2 is a very well-made dive light. The small but relatively heavy lamp is very good in the hand and the magnetic rotary switch combines well with your thumb and forefinger can operate. The light output is excellent. The transition from the spot in the atrium is very pleasant and the 4 switchable brightness levels are well graded. The atrium exudes from a wide angle and is still very bright. In a night dive (still pending) will be probably rarely need to fully exploit the power of the lamp, which will then get the maximum burn time benefit.

So why only 3 stars ?!
On the one hand, the rotary switch is easy to operate, but the switching logic is suboptimal. The switch must be quickly back and forth-connected between "Off" and "On" To change the brightness levels. Although the now more complicated than it really sounds, but that could have been handled better, especially at the end of the rotary switch nor a spring switch seems to be, with which the switch could have been much better to be realized.

But when looking incredibly I find the charger, and especially the charging cradle. As described in another review inserting the batteries is very awkward in these cheaply-looking charger and also with me the battery needs to be fixed with a Velcro strap so that it does not express itself from the charger during charging.

In addition, at the charging cradle while a USB cable is connected, which can be the battery may also charge to a PC or notebook, but the charge LED is unfortunately not attached to the charger cradle but to the external power supply. With direct USB charging is therefore never know whether the battery is charged at all, or when the charging is complete. The engineer, who has come up with is one, fired smooth.
