After negative experiences with the weak capacity of battery-replicas of the NP-FW50 I have now ordered an alleged original battery at Amazon Marketplace. Result: - Sony is in the manual of Alpha 35, a charging time of 250 minutes on the supplied battery invited max.. 2 Hours - Screen printing on the battery front panel is of poorer quality than the battery supplied with the camera - The label on the other side has a different typeface, the QR code is printed clearly unclean (see photo gallery). I have not a smartphone, but the code does not seem as if one could actually scan it.
Perhaps I suffer from paranoia, but this battery goes back and I'll buy tomorrow in the stationary specialist retailers a "other" original battery.
Edit 22:01:12: The blister packaging from the retailers differs from the shipping packaging from (photo gallery). Another clear indication that something is wrong here. The "dealers battery" invites - as expected - almost exactly 4 hours.
