Caveat: The Anchor 8400mAh had two serious weaknesses, one of which is a showstopper.
Anchor:
1) Did the charge repeatedly shut down uncontrollably every minute ... you would have to press the Power button again and again during a charge to start charging again -> that was the showstopper ... return is (my request to anchor wg. This behavior has produced only a standard copy & paste response that suggests that anchor has not read my description of the fault really ... have the e-mail traffic with anchor ignored then ...). It may be that this misconduct does not occur with any smartphone, but at least in my two.
2) The LEDs at the anchor go out after a few seconds ... so you never know whether the anchor Loading or has already shut down prematurely. I have the loading terminations only noticed it because the display of the Alcatel 997D always comes on when the power is turned off.
Gemessende capacity of the anchor: invites 5844mAh battery, which is in line with the nominal 8400mAh (which are of course not reached 8400mAh wg different voltage standards and general cargo losses ... everything was normal and in the green..).
PowerGen:
1) loads without problems, not the permanent shutdown as the anchor
2) Measured Kapaziät of PowerGen: 6048mAh (and at a remaining LED is still not empty) ... so better than the Anchor 8400mAh
Conclusion: PowerGen loads reliably without constant uncontrolled shutdown as the anchor ... PowerGen has more capacity than the anchor ...
Note PowerGen: the 0.6A jack loads rapidly, the connector 2A slow ... either jacks reversed ... or some other reason ... but does not matter if you know it ...

Edit 30.07.2013:
Must correct my euphoria. During the initial charging Kapaziät the final result had 6550mAh (nominal, it should be around 6200mAh), arrived in another (un) loading cycle sobering: 30% loss of capacity.
The unit returns, but did the same to me ordered a new one ... let's see if this was an isolated incident ....
