Positive point:
- Its dynamic and very detailed. you must love this analytical side, but once used to it, it seems that all the other headphones sound softly. Momentum sounds more "hot" but seems less dynamic.
- Low slamming, powerful but not too highlighted.
- Performance insulation.
- Comfortable .. after "running" because at first I had sore ears after a few hours because of the significant tightening. I do not know if they have become insensitive to the use (!) Or if the hoop was relaxed, but now I find it very comfortable and can keep it on the head much of the day without problem.
- Strong (and we can anyway find parts without problems since it shares a lot of parts with the HD25: cables, foams, hoops, ...)
Negatives (nit-picking a little because none really bother me):
- Do not like badly encoded songs (mp3 prefer 320+, 256+ or ogg flac) and is not flattering with old records where you have to play a little equalizer.
- Plastic headband makes plasticky.
- Look less likely than recent productions (Momentum, Fidelio, ..)
- The cable used for the portion of the cable that runs from the headphone output to the extension mp3 player is very thin and looks quite fragile. Caution because unlike the HD25, it is not a steel cable.
- No folding, suddenly even though it is a supra aural, it takes as much space as a circum in baggage.
- No storage box or even a "carrying case" (although it is mentioned in the detailed description), but you can easily find and not too expensive: the T'nB CSCASEBK Universal Storage Case stereo headset fits like a glove.
- Important Sound pressure: force to rediscover my club to a volume probably higher than I thought, I end up having ears whistling!
In conclusion:
This headset whose sound quality was recognized was poorly noted in its release because of its prohibitive price (299 whereas the cost HD25 180). This caused his loss that today allows to enjoy it for a little over a hundred dollars. Enjoy!
