We have talked a lot about the purchase of a new digital compact camera and a lot recheriert, looked on the internet and in shops, reviews to read, etc. As we have for several years a Canon PowerShot A * Series in use and the use selbiger basically has taken self-explanatory, we wanted to like to stay with the PowerShot series, however, we have to improve. Finally, we decided after much back and forth for the SX210 and we both can by now 500 shots in 6 weeks notice any serious deficiencies for us. The camera is very light and relatively small for the built-in optics, to dealing with it, we had to get used to us, but it goes fast and now we're both taking pictures with one hand, so do not bother us that much-discussed flash discussion. For us, more important is the desselbigen very fast recharging, which is a big plus, especially for snapshots. The camera's features are so diverse that we have not tested all by far. Since we are both not professional photographers, we use anyway mostly automatic. Very awesome, we find the smile and blink as well as the children / tier setting. Since we have rumhopsen one year here, this has made it very paid. The shutter speed is bombastic. We had the batteries so far only once in about 350 images (A4 resolution) charge, which was previously a discussion point between us, because: what do you do when the middle of nowhere the battery all about? In the A-series simply drop to A-cells replacement battery is not worth it in our opinion. The jog wheel is mounted on the back, which is very pleasant. The zoom lever on the top is the pointer finger easy to use. Very good, we also find the extra button next to the display for playback of images. During video recording you can also zoom, this is new to us and very great. All in all I would say that the acquisition of extra tools worth, which certainly discourages the price of the camera. Anyway, we are completely satisfied. Versiertere photographers will surely find better cameras.
