Positive:
Compact, well-made device that is a combination of 2.5-inch hard drive and a card reader with its own power supply (battery, USB or network).
Also works with SSD drives
Easy replacement of drives
Worked perfectly as an external hard disk or card reader on your PC (Windows 7)
Not so good:
The manufacturer's documentation is actually a joke
The two-button operation, although comfortable, but you have a bit careful that you do not accidentally delete the memory card (hard disk can not be deleted).
The card slots have no coverage (keep protected by the device even under harsh environmental conditions, I bought a box of UK (Ultrabox 206) - can be found here: [...] for 15.29).
Addition:
My supplier (Digitalix24, Mr. Beck) has added all the necessary information (manual) including a FAT32 Formatter on their own, also provides different hard drives already formatted done that you can then replace itself easily (otherwise: great service, thanks for that).
Note:
Depending on the system does it work with FAT32-formatted disks. Since at the time still the memory cards formatted in FAT32 (whereby the maximum file size is limited to 4 GB), the read-write speed is only limited by the performance of the memory card. FAT32 can only manage hard disk partitions to 500GB; greater must therefore be pratitioniert.
