Pro:
+ My two copies hum NOT (I have a very sensitive hearing, which would hear a buzz)
+ The lamp makes a very bright light (1000 lumens appear realistic)
+ Light acts not glaring, but really warm white (but that should not be confused with the heat radiation (infrared radiation) the stupid light bulbs)
+ Heatsink acts sensibly dimensioned
+ I have measured it: the lamp actually consumes approximately 12 W (active power)
Cons:
- Radiation: the lamp emits more downwards, less aside
- Power factor: As with almost all LED retrofit lamps, the power factor is due to the distortion power of the built-in switch mode power supply at about 0.6. That does not actually correspond to the prior art and represents an unnecessary burden of power grid and environment. At present, this is unfortunately also in the expensive lamps still the case.
