If you're looking for a flash for Canon cameras, it has apparently only the choice between good and expensive (Canon, Metz) or bad and cheap (Yongnuo, Cullmann, etc). With Nissin one would first think, cheaper Asian Schrott - but this is not at all like that. A look at the corporate side already shows that the company has to offer a nice range of flash units and presents itself seriously. There are even video applications with entry-level advice. And not for nothing Nissin flashes were touted already as "Best Buy" known photograph page dpreview.com and are in America very popular.
And so I decided for a Nissin Speedlite Di622 Mark II, of the equipment the same features as the twice as expensive Canon Speedlite 430 EX II. And I have not regretted it. The flash works reliably and the highlight par excellence: It can trigger wirelessly him with cameras like the Canon 600D, ie it must not in line of sight, as with other flashes, the need to register the trigger flash. I was so pleased with the Nissin that I have already ordered a second me. And with 2 wirelessly triggered lightning can be photographically already do a lot.
The only negative points, if you like the call so are:
a) The flash is a distinct buzz when charging itself. Guess that make all flashes more or less and it does not really bother.
b) Automatic power-saving shutdown is a bissl aufn alarm. Setup is completed, you moved something to strike or to the camera, press REC trigger u only 1 flash fires because the other has turned off within 20 seconds or so. Blöderweise undefeatable, what is a real point of criticism.
Overall, I still forgive 5 stars because I think it's just great value for money.
If the original Canon flash you is too expensive, you should leave here and access the fingers of Yongnuo.
