Good and cheap Stativschelle

Qualitative processing
The tripod collar, which I acquired 70-200 f4L for Canon is made of aluminum in gray-white color. If you take the clamp in the hand you quickly realize that it is good quality processed. She seems very robust. On the balance it brings 127g what not bother me, because the above-mentioned lens weighs only about 700g anyway.
Particularly important are of course the threads, which look a bit cheap in my opinion, but still fulfill their function. Do not worry: everything is stuck! The hinge top has virtually no room to for pages (not shaking). It feels as if it will last very long.
Inside, the clamp equipped with a felt cover, which bewart lens from scratches and provides a degree of slip resistance.

Appearance
The visuals are indeed at a Stativschelle rather secondary, but I'd like to appeal to the color, as it was supposed to fit already to the lens anyway. If you look closely, you can see that the color of the lens and clamp are almost identical. From some distance one sees the minimal difference garnicht more. Again convinced the tripod collar.
Do not be surprised: the paint has a Bläßchenmuster. That's not really a problem and does not speak for poor quality, as may some may think.

Functionality
The most important of course is that the clamp also works and is stuck on the lens. This is clearly the case here. Since wobbles and nothing slips. In addition, the lens on an input or tripod feels well balanced.

Conclusion
Anyone looking for a tripod mount for one of these lenses, which can be accessed here without hesitation. If you consider that the orignal Canon tripod mount ring around the 5 cost to 6 times, I advise anyone who is such a clamp is looking to take this.
Generally I find the tripod socket as an important investment, because you can take pictures with a tripod so much balanced and should have no worry, that everything falls over forwards, because the lens is much too heavy.
