In practice so far problem-free daily use for about four weeks without noticeable performance degradation and / or quality variations. Both connections are secure and are additionally anchored with rubber applications with the cable itself, as there are far worse and inferior copies from Asia.
The efficiency of gold-plated plugs is controversial, I look at the "golden Potpourri" rather than decorative, but ultimately useless, gimmick. The textile sheath of the cable, however, is more of an added value, especially in mobile applications, and perhaps in some cases even reduces the risk of accidental cable breakage.
Conclusion: Solid USB 3.0 / Micro (B) USB cable. No more, no less.
