After retracting the saddle (ca.800km) which is composed very convenient. In May I then the old Suntour Parallelogrammsattelstütze is broken, at full speed! Was not that great and would have me almost thrown. The seatpost had already 6000km on the clock, but still.
The new SUNTOUR suspension seatpost SP12-NCX pleasantly surprised me, it seems more robust and better processed. But never imagined a precaution against the dirt equal to buy a terminal protective neoprene! This works fine.
Unlike the old seat post, I have purchased in July so far only have to lubricate against creaking.
Bin Since July about 3500km driven with the Suntour suspension seatpost SP12-NCX and use them now on my two wheels. What better I have never experienced as ride comfort. Pity no markers are mounted on the seat post to the seat when changing the wheel set again to the same height.
The Brooks saddle I have incidentally bought in color honey, because my old, purchased in the 80s Flyers, Brown was and always rubbed off. It is also important to protect the leather saddle always against rain, otherwise the clamping force of the saddlecloth fades away too quickly.
