I'm optical fiber, with Neufbox, and I have a quantity of devices connected to my box: BR player, TV, Philips Hue system, wi-fi speakers in different rooms of the house ... This router has replaced advantageously the hub that I used before to connect wired devices via my 4 Ethernet ports that offers the Linksys - and I can see that the response time is much faster.
I also cut my wifi box, and uses only the Linksys devices connected to Wi-Fi. And I see a significant improvement, especially for my pregnant.
My audio system is much more powerful: I reparameterized my Wi-fi speakers (Bose SoundTouch in my main room, and a Denon Cocoon in my kitchen). I suffered previously frequent dropouts, especially for the kitchen cabinet. Since the Linksys, it works perfectly, I do not need to reset, and stalls.
An effective router, but that requires a certain motivation to research and understand the possibilities it offers.
