Effective additional light

I bought the video light as an accessory to my System Camera Sony Alpha NEX 5N as additional lighting in order to obtain especially when shooting movies more light. Since the NEX I want to receive 5N movies at 50 frames / s of course get the optimum during recording. This works with this Videolight properly.
Meanwhile I use the headlights for normal photographs. This allows me to shoot without a flash and not to high ISO value, the color temperature of the video light for a natural reproduction of colors create.

Plus points:
+ Lighter headlights with sufficient stable housing for the hobby use
+ Optimally balanced step-up converter, therefore good utilization of Voltage / Capacity Battery
+ Good selection of LEDs results in a homogeneous luminous area
+ Battery level indicator with 5 LED Although no precise capacity indication, but reveals how it is ordered to charge the batteries / battery
+ Mounting with the included swivel occurs stable
+ The filter discs serve their purpose

Bad points:
- When switched off light some LEDs (albeit only very slightly more). This means that when switched off, a small current flows and the battery / batteries be drained. This can thus prevent a battery / battery is removed, but this is very cumbersome.
- The already repeatedly criticized adjust the brightness on Step-Up / Step-Down button. Unpleasant, but handlebar.

Conclusion: I do not regret the purchase and use the Video Light as Video Light and replacement for flash.
