It was really difficult even a VHS recorder no frills

to find. According to the latest Panasonicprospekt it is still produced the only VHS recorder without DVD.

The problems of other reviews, including loud running noise, are foreign to me.

I can only recommend the recorder for people who do not want to fall back on a DVD or hard disk recorder.
