After my MBP adopted in 2009 by the battery, I had to think about whether I'll get me a new battery or a new laptop. Because of the price, I then decided to try it once with the new battery.

Unfortunately, there were some teething problems with the recognition of the battery's. After I (System Management Controller [...]) have reset the SMC, it is recognized and I can work with it again. Unfortunately, the battery life is very poor compared with the original battery. The original I came on good 5 - 6 hours. Unfortunately, the bought here creates only 50min - 2 hours. Real disappointing.
