I have gained this lens hood for my Olympus 14-42mm II R (Kitobjektiv the Pen E-PL5), since Olympus is known for stingy is an enclosed and too greedy to offer them as an option for reasonable price. Sorry about the harsh choice of words, but 50 for a piece of plastic are absolutely unjustified!

This lens hood is very fit, it fits easily into the lens and snapped a precise, if you have the trim ring away. If not in use, do I fit it around simply wrong. So I have always. I swear on "Geli" because they protect in addition of holding of stray light and the lens. If I anecke somewhere, the diaphragm is scratched and not the front lens. That's why I do not see it well, to spend much money for such a product. ;-)

Another nice side effect: the camera can be by the rectangular format now perfect stop on flat surfaces without the risk that it tilts forward over. The GeLi is so to speak a base for the lens.

Conclusion: The absolute must-have for owners of 14-42mm II (R)!
