I wanted to replace my GPS médion 2008 that works very well indeed, by a model with a newer mapping. -I have therefore asked my sights on a GP55BT takara: at first, the look is nice, thin product, a battery séparée.bien the device at its initiation is not very fast. it is surprising, but it must go through this waiting time before starting the route. -The positive points: the possibilities of use, selection of poi, the possibility of adding a focus point or radar. Bluetooth is also an interesting point because it is easy to apairer with a camera. The speed limit information is more useful on the road, but sometimes painful when one is on a road whose speed does not match the speed set in the Gps. -the negative aspects: the voices of two people (male or female) which is chosen for guidance. nazillardes these voices are unpleasant and not strong enough. more and bluetooth, sound is not very developed and nazille too. mapping is outdated; from its first power up, I have a message informing me that the mapping is outdated ......... This saddens me a little, a lot even. I contacted Takara France and expect an answer or proposal. I hope that the free update from my outdated mapping this new device will be. (Device received mid-September 2011 Mapping 2009 !!!!) this will determine my final satisfaction index. today I have mixed feelings. After a 2nd email, two months later, still no response. So take the pain with patience !!!
