The first thing I, of course, the top image of the camera is noticed even at dusk makes this still a surprisingly good picture. My other cameras have even 1.3 megapixel but the image is compared to Sony and blurry without sufficient lighting you have, unfortunately, only a black screen where you can still glimpse an outline.
The Sony does not have night vision mode but for the two LEDs, the normal space for a snapshot sufficiently illuminated. The combination of LEDs with the good image is a better solution than the night vision mode with IR LEDs from two of my Edimax cameras. Since these are then only make s / w image and not to use on the day due to the special filter.
Also I welcome that a proper motion is obstructed. for example, you can turn on the two LEDs above these in the dark and then start on the software motion detection or face detection recording.
In the settings via the WebUI of the camera you realize that Sony some more experience with the video surveillance has even if here and there a few explanations of the individual functions are missing. Practically, in this example, the default setting of 3 different image / video sizes which you can then save to SD or can send via mail / FTP.
Conclusion:
For 20 more price (currently 120) is this a far ausbessere camera (processing, settings, image quality and output formats) as a comparable example of Edimax IC-3110W. From me, then there's a strong buy recommendation.
Ps. I want to now not make the cameras Edimax bad as they are perfectly adequate for home use and for not as safety-relevant areas.
