Sound
------
The sound of this headset is how the predecessor, just super! The bass sound natural and not pushing as it is the case with Dr. Beats & Co.. The midrange and treble sound very balanced. For the size of the speaker, the sound is excellent and can even keep up with structurally larger headphones from Sony, Philips, Sennheiser (400 series).
When listening in your own home the full sound comes into its own. Travelling in public transport it shields not so good and makes some noise through. One can not expect an open headphones provide.
Comfort
-------------
The headset sits comfortably light on his head and is easily adjusted to the size of the head.
Processing
-------------
The mechanics of the folding bar is well thought out and functioning properly. Unfortunately Sennheiser has more saving compared to its predecessor the jack and attached a very simple little plug. Then I have not paid attention when buying. He is kept very short and the cable is very loosely therein that rapid wear is probably within or shortly after the warranty period. I think it's the manufacturer an impertinence that here at the expense of life (consciously) was saved. If headphones in the price range you can expect more, especially since he already consists of little material. Profit is just everything! It also happened to me on the former and this model that the cable has come between the folded folding bracket of the headphones. This cable is clamped and then tears sometime by.
Accessories
--------
The predecessor a plastic storage box was there yet, which has protected the headphones during transport. Since Sennheiser has also saved again, at the expense of consumers. I found the box depending on bag or backpack very convenient, just because of the headphones and the cables but are somewhat sensitive and may be easily damaged. A useful addition for little money would have been a pair of ear cups to change, especially since the items are cents.
Repair of the headphones
-------------------------
Meanwhile, I noticed that there are already all the instructions on the Internet on how to replace the plug itself. Meanwhile, I have my old headphones can again repaired in this way. For about 4 you get to buy a solderable spare jack. This is simply soldered to the headphone cord. This should only people trying who are familiar with the soldering (something).
Conclusion:
-------
The sound of the headphones is excellent in its price range. Nevertheless, it could be much cheaper because no existing accessories (storage compared to its predecessor) and its somewhat sensitive design (slightly more brittle jack). The price / performance ratio is therefore only satisfactory.
