Long sought various tried and this one is up with the perfect. Space for a full-frame (in my case a Canon 6D) with battery grip and even 50 mm lens. On the page you can then make another small 2er separation and here I have a 85mm lens and replacement batteries stowed. The front pocket is large enough to pack some extra parts.
BUT !!! The belt is extremely short ... should the bag to wear across one may have a hobbit size ... but I've just summarily solved so that I've attached another (which was not a problem within 30 seconds).
For me, at last a perfect interim solution for backpack
