First of all, the quality of the switch bag is great, but for the installation, which quite tricky designed because of the shift boot not quite fit, I have to deduct star. Maybe it's the year of construction, the fact is that the original shift boot is in my BMW E30 Year 1986 leatherette and not leather, at the upper opening had two holes which served for attaching two plastic sleeves and also had only one seam. The new has said holes do not, so I have to make a punch itself. The fact that it is thick leather instead of synthetic leather, also makes it any easier. This material does not really fit namely between the two plastic sleeves and I had therefore (this point later disappears inside) a triangle out of the material cut. The second seam wore on addition, so all was not so easy. On plastic frame, with the old shift boot was stuck, you could see also that this was for a seam, but not for two because the center only a recess for this was, but not two in the corners, as you would need it. In the end I did it while he can build and now looks really good, but the installation was as I said a little difficult. The seller would in my opinion to point out that there apparently were several variants in the E30. So I would have saved me the 2 hour Fummelarbeit.
