During design, Apple has surpassed itself. Elegant aluminum with a thin, yet stable multitouch glass plate, that's the whole trackpad. The batteries (2x AA) can be accommodated in round backs. The rubber feet provide discreetly for the click as a mouse button when you type on trackpad.
The feature is hassle free and complies with the latest MacBook Pro trackpad, but is noticeably larger. Two finger scrolling with acceleration comes as a new three-finger gesture for drag-and-drop. Also turning and zoom in / out to the iPhone, since mice no longer come up with. Everything can be configured in the system settings and is also explained there. If a gesture at first seems too complicated, you can let them off.
In use, I feel the trackpad to be equivalent to the current Magic Mouse from Apple. Big hand movements I still find more convenient with the mouse. But can the trackpad such feats as four-finger Exposé, because I can get used to easily. Preferably both?
