Because of the previous posts I have searched the finger to the edge of production residues in order to avoid scratching of my brand-new lens. Nothing - no sharp edges or other traps that could cause damage to the lens.
Another problem to be adapting to the lens and closing. Again, I could not detect any defects. The locking screw engages securely and closes the ring. The lens is firmly seated in the ring and it turns anything - bombproof.
A star I subtracted because the paint has a few bubbles and me a bit disturbing. But in my view is not the end - but it is not 100%.
I can recommend the tripod collar. However, one should search the ring after production tracks before the first assembly and, if necessary, or just send back rectify (file).
