First of all for the better:
The netbook is very visually appealing and the red looks really good. The Panel (a "full enclosure", but more on that later) is made of matte plastic, so fingerprints do not fall on here.
Processing makes a robust impression. He is now not the narrowest or lightest in its class, but I think that's just good because I do not want to be constantly worried to do anything broken, cancel or simply to touch him;) But that is as always a matter of taste.
Screen and touch screen are properly, but the screen is not matte, so it reflects strongly, which is sometimes very inconvenient - just go
The large mouse pad is very pleasant to work. It responds to both single tap with one click, as well as by stronger pressure.
I've unfortunately the subjective impression that the device sometimes reacts quite slow and long needed for building sites, starting programs or for processing. However, I would not want to prematurely condemn vll. Walk with me (still) too many applications in the background.
The key spacing and stroke is also (in my opinion) very good - the keys are a little further apart, so that someone like me not so quickly come to the embarrassment, to make the same number of keys while typing fast. But is a matter of taste.
The 360 ° property of the device is a fun little gimmick. When keypad are small rubber studs, so that the unit will not slip so easily scratched and possibly when it acts as if it were a tablet and the keyboard itself is praktischer- and necessarily then deactivated. So thought along, Mr. HP;) But a Tablet of course no substitute for the (keyword ventilation noise (which otherwise absolutely fine, but are simply not present in a tablet), scope of the device and battery).
Well. So now the main point of criticism: the battery. Or. the battery life. So my device creates three hours. After about 2.5 "k **** it from t". I had to formulate unfortunately something vulgar that now. The situation is this: the unit is running, there is only one program open (Word), in which I sometimes even type in a few lines, but not on a regular basis, so that the screen saver (black) is much to. After nearly 2.5 hours, I get the first warning of low battery (14%), after 5-7 minutes, the second (12%) and after less than 10 minutes further is the little "gone". So the rest battery is rapidly exhausted quickly.
Now I had just used to the little ones and did not want him at the first disagreement sacking (= return). So I wanted to look at a longer shelf life quite foxy for a replacement battery, when I became aware that already mentioned prevented full fairing that you can easily switch at normal laptop so the battery as usual. Doof now.
So I have not yet decided, but tend to be I will have to probably give it back again.
Conclusion: For small, simple applications the way and at home the HP Pavilion is well suited. He impresses with optic and fine workmanship. The 360 ° function is a little gem, but not really necessary.
For the way, the device is as good as not. Less than 3 hours of battery life are just completely to reality over, which I therefore have to deduct 2 stars.
