Although I do not read a lot of thrillers, but had the feeling that this was an extremely successful here. The fact that the perspective changes from the first we read between two and then three figures and that they are all, or at least more unreliable narrator, the reader keeps pretty much on your toes and the thought over themselves.
Although initially a little slow, the events of the book in the first half are not boring. It is because stress and the very fact that one is lured repeatedly on different tracks, an incredible number of questions and curiosity come up and you want more.
One has to always be the feeling on the right track, but a few pages later is they already no longer so sure. And I think that's really succeeded, because one wants to finally read a thriller, in which one can imagine the end after a few pages.
The figures were now not necessarily people who you close to her heart, but each of them was, and somehow also spoiled fascinating in its own way, but it also has not worked farfetched. They just wanted to learn about them and finally know which of them you can actually trust more.
The writing style was neat. I gathered me quickly and I think he was right about the story and the language was easy to understand.
All in all, me 'The Girl on the Train' very entertained and if you fancy a thriller that makes one the whole not too easy, then I would recommend this book highly!
