But after a short use I am confident that the decision for Manfrotto was right. Since there is nothing to complain about. Also, I do not know if the drives are compatible.

The ball head wearing a comfortable D300 with Akkupak and 300 focal length. My Nikor AF 75-300 has fortunately still a tripod collar. A bit of a shame that I must then unscrewing when changing lenses, the release plate. The prize for a second I find excessive.

In summary: the head is worth the money, I would buy it again at any time.
