The optical properties of course you can read anywhere but those laboratory values do not reflect the practical value and imaging performance in practice again. There are at any aperture and focal length with no color fringing. Vignetting may be in gray-test images physically in the long range slightly present, but I saw no evidence in the record, I had no desire to look for it. The VR "anti-shake" function is amazing. One can make a steady hand stable images with the maximum of 300mm (by the extension factor of 1.5) even in moderate light. In 55-70 (80-100er) area the best portraits shoot with pleasant weggeschärftem background. AF is lightning fast and almost inaudibly. Of course you can also just once switch to manual focus. The thread for the zoom adjustment is smooth and soft as butter, manual hand-focus a little tricky, because very, very light, with low-path sectors.
One could say that the lens is good for its price, but since you're wrong now: It's excellent, without compromise and we should just enjoy the low price because I have doubts about whether a gun with the 20 times price sooo much would bring more and also needs a Sherpa. Plug it into the jacket pocket, they were a little cautious when scheduling the thread and replace it back and forth with the "little" or an arbitrary, just as handy fixed focal length. Enjoy the ease of handling and the brilliant results.
