Ansich the Pace TDS865NSDX is a good HD receiver. Compact, simple design and a very pleasant front panel make it visually appealing. The connections are forward-looking, albeit partially not yet activated. The front USB port will probably never be used. The rear is about to be activated for a PVR function, as well as the eSATA port. The firmware responds quickly and is very well structured. The switching times are also good to very good. However, there are problems creating the favorite list (program positions 1-99), since the box frequently crashes and a hard reset is required. Also the device lacks a timer function, however, is to follow in the wake of the PVR-activation. The energy-saving function described in the Bedienungdanleitung is not (yet) available, so the unit after a short standby time goes into deep standby and then about 30sec needed for operational readiness. All in all, recommended the device for each Sky customers who can still wait for a PVR function and a low-priced device searches, which is relatively future-proof. For anyone who wants to use the device without Sky subscription, is not recommended because there are some cases for less money a lot more power.
