PRO:
- Design (aluminum body) is visually appealing, but unremarkable
- The start-up was very simple.
- Very easy handling, both via smartphone / tablet, as well as via the web interface

- Platform independent (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac ...)
- Temperature accuracy is very good (both inside and outside). Deviations can but himself

- CO2 sensor - where there is such a thing?
- Recording interval of 5min - which is already well and are therefore smooth temperature gradients in the day view again.
- Alarm values can be configured individually (eg frost warning, high humidity, etc ...)

- There must be created a user account, before the operation is not possible
- All readings are hosted in Netatmo (on their servers stored). Is the only way a
uncomplicated access to their own data / readings world possible
- The indoor unit is powered by an beiligendes power pack. Another power supply more. On the positive side, however,
that a standard USB port is used. Insert the USB plug I put on my existing Fritz box,
thus I can save the extra power supply.
- Privacy? Well, many complain about the Privacy Policy, the sensor data are saved by the provider, as well
the location and email address. Sorry, but a personalized user account is nunmal for as a concept
necessary. The user can also decide for themselves whether to publish the spatial data - or not.
And if you reveal the spatial data - yes, the manufacturer can then determine the address pretty much.

- Range: The indoor station must be located in their own wireless reception area necessarily. The Range
the outdoor sensor is no worse or better than other weather stations. Here one must not expect miracles.
- Processing outside sensor: Was here often complained that the outdoor unit is not waterproof / rain sealing.
So here is to NOT to the rain sensor, but the standard external sensor for temperature and humidity.
Humidity is not measured in the water, just as it determines the temperature directly in the sunlight. The raindrops temperature I think not important.
A temperature sensor is always! protected set up in the shade. You have to pay for the right location or appropriate protective stop here only himself. This is neither positive nor negative - but "normal".
- Accuracy CO2 sensor: These values can be viewed only as an indicator, but not as accurate readings.
A CO2 sensor is a highly complex component that needs to be calibrated again.
Here operated the manufacturer of a trick: Auto calibration to 400ppm - it is simply ausgegeangen believe that with adequate ventilation the CO2 content to 400ppm levels off = zero. As a trend indicator that is OK.
- The displayed humidity from indoor sensor can "calibrate" a support request. The scale is accordingly
shifted by 10%. My range is therefore only up to 90%.
Amazingly, the previously supplied measurement values (between 50% and 70%) are very accurate. So accurate enough for my living room.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Price / Accuracy: The price is already borderline high, but my relative humidity values are too inaccurate.
The indoor station was 10% too high, the outside sensor 5% too high. The displayed barometric pressure 10 mbar this is too low.
- The humidity from the outside sensor can not "calibrate", not via support. Where 5% usually so straight
within the tolerance range.
- Sonometer: Is sometimes nice to look at. That was it but also. No way this Micro off. Do we need that?
What has the (living room) volume to do with the weather? Here I share the privacy concerns of other users.

For the price I would have liked a bit more accurate weather station (up to temperature, there were slight variations).
