- After 15 years, Polyphony Digital has finally learned to model a suspension worthy of the name and the result is more than convincing, the mass transfers feel really good and it was a much more realistic than in the driving example 5 . Pleasure is total and excellent immersion. We feel the tires, we feel the car, we are on familiar ground. And this is also what saves the final note ...
- Slightly improved graphics but little difference compared to GT5, the limits of the PS3 seem affected
- Goodwood, fairly well reproduced although unfortunately this test series ends soon
- The challenge "lunar exploration", a little gadget and very short, though fun for her next novel
And that's it. However, negative side:
- You like to earn cash at virtually every racing series? Forget. Now we give you the sparingly and you will have to buy the ones you will need for the following races, and racing mono model. Obviously it is expensive and it is not related with the little races we will be able to fill the garage. Need a car before Le Mans 79 3 races unhappy? Nevermind, it cost 2 million. Not enough money? No worries because they have thought of everything: micro-transactions! Who have the name of micro incidentally. Take the credit card, or remade 50 times the same race you finally pay for the car you need to progress through the "career" mode. This is fun.
- And B-Spec in? And yes, the B-Spec that allowed its drivers to turn while going about his business, and thus garner money and then be able to afford cars for the A-Spec ... also ended, since the 'simply deleted. Inevitably, what use micro-transactions otherwise. So no, they are not a minor point in the game as I have read elsewhere, since much of the philosophy of GT for 15 years was found in whack.
- Artificial Intelligence and scripted idiot, waiting for you driving at 2 per hour in the penultimate lap, then do not you drop by sticking to the train and hitting you full price straight. And, whatever the race or the championship. Good luck in Nascar in Daytona ...
- Still laughable engine sounds, and suffering the same bugs in GT5.
- Do not try the track editor, though announced loudly, since it is also conspicuously absent, at least in the version which came out as of today. I wonder how some can be included in the positives as there is no but ...
- And more endurance races either, for that matter. Ended 24H of Le Mans, Nurburgring, and too bad for the 12 hours of Spa. Maybe one day, with updates, who knows .... like the track editor and the B-Spec I guess. But personally, I do not buy a game 55 by saying "maybe they will end in six months or a year. Or not."
- Career Mode which has no "career" as the name, always succinct and tote.
So overall I am disappointed that the 6th component that greatly improves ride but introduces elements that I find hateful and uninviting for the future of the series ...
ps. I did not refer to 1200 cars, as they are the same as in GT5 95%, including portages from GT4 improved a little, but with some additions but not enough to compensate for me the tens duplicates of Rx7, MX5 and other Skyline.
