One point deduction is available for the abysmal manual: Felt 50 languages, all rolled in no discernible order messed up and then only a tiny set that is relevant. First, in Arabic. No, who can speak English, here is also no better off ... Also worked the driver CD does not (on my Lenovo laptop !!!); It came just endless lists of long deleted entries in "/c/$recycle.bin" or something like that.
The manual can be summed up in one simple sentence:
Install the driver BEFORE THE MONITOR CONNECTING.
Whoever heeds the will enjoy using the monitor.
In my case I had, however, only be downloaded from the Lenovo-side driver. This easily installed, and allows very easy control of the second display. The link is even required for this in the user manual (if you have first found a readable language).
Another note: While the display is approximately 1cm thin inclusive plastic cover, it has a rear projecting part, the additional 12mm and about 1/4 again makes the surface of the display. I do not mind that, but it is so cleverly hidden in the picture ...
Addendum (07/02/2015) Bin from Lenove on a MacBook Air 11 "switched. The display also works with this excellent (with a simple USB cable). The driver can be under" find DisplayLink ".
