I was thinking back and forth long, I had the new Tamron and Sigma 70-200 2.8, since the three currently are very similar from the price, they can not keep up with the Nikkor! What was never mentioned in the other reviews, but this is very relevant to me, is the absolute accuracy of Nikon`s, I do not here deny the Tamron and Sigma are not sharp, but they do not have the accuracy and precision full strength exploit. The VR I need here, I do not describe the the sensational and well as here already repeatedly mentioned the part is a true lightweight that I know personally greatly appreciated. I use a good piece on the D800 and can really recommend it to anyone who wants to buy this lens.
