Customer Review

Video at Amazon.com View My buying reason for this model is the function of the internal 4K recording as a supplement to my Samsung NX1. For those who are looking for a modern compact camera, photo like video, the NX500 is worth a look anyway.

Here short my impressions and facts summarized:

(+)
> Class image quality, both photo and video (despite low data rate compared to NX1)
> Great handling, even better than the NX300
> Modern, coherent operating concept
> IFn function (not model specific, but Samsung specialty)
> 4K in good quality (4096 x 2160, 3840 x 2160 HD so 4faches course goes well)
> Connectivity, as expected, exemplary
> Adjustable autofocus functions during filming (how fast a new point of focus are recognized and how fast should be focused on)
> Touch Screen

(+/-)
> The choice of lenses is limited, but (in fact) sufficient
> Rotatable display not the side (as with some Canon DSLR's) swiveling
> Max. Continuous shooting speed is not maintained at the highest resolution long
> The H265 codec is currently supported by a few editing programs (task for the software vendor)

(-)
Get> as an option no viewfinder
> No microphone input for external microphone
> At the two highest film releases of the image section is significantly smaller
Get> very few lenses from other manufacturers
> Currently have the RAW's neither with Lightroom yet to develop Photoshop (only temporary problem)

I think all in all, especially the summary 4k function sensational, passing through the sensor also an outstanding camera. If you have any questions I like to try you, within my means to help.
