This spot is easy to use: after turning 4 D batteries (LR20 or I think) there is more than to put it in the right place (and / or fix). It is moving in all directions thanks to two ball joints that are locked by hand in 2 seconds which allows to change its orientation often or adjust easily. The lighting is powerful (watch the eyes !!!) and the rather broad beam. Automatic detection is at most 3m and the illumination lasts longer than 20 seconds. I put in an alley of my garden and have not encountered any problem so far. It seems to me very tight and solid, that's what I wanted. The only uncertainty remaining battery life as much as this format is not easily rechargeable. The future will tell me how take the batteries ...
