I used this sound reflector my Canon Speedlite 430 EX II and frankly the result is very disappointing. Not only this reflector does not diminish the impact of the flash, or barely, but worse, the flash light with this reflector is too pointed up the image. With this reflector was the upper part of the image that is bright light on boundary-former, and the lower part, it, by cons, which is under-exposure. I moved the reflector, I dropped mounted (with elastic), but the result is the same. The top of the image received all flash and bottom of the image enough. BUT having said that, it will depend on the focal length (I did my test at 24 and 35mm) and the environment, but still ... it is clear that this reflector sends the light 3/4 on the top of the image and not enough on the bottom.
