It was a moment I was looking for a small mobile battery-operated speaker (if not the interests of the Nomad is limited). I watched other mini eneintes Logitech, Sony, Phillips, JBL ... All over 50 euros. Certainly a bit more powerful but my usage was mainly on the road, in addition to my tablet (Nexus 7) or in my daughter's room to put him soft music so she could sleep. No need for an extraordinary sound quality but I wanted the sound is pleasant to listen (ie it is not nasal and has minimal bass). Amazon surfing I found the reviews on this forum. I admit that I let myself influenced knowing that at this price I did not take many risks. The enclosure is fairly well done and does not gadget. Pairing with my tablet (including iPad) and my phone is childish. An LED blinks rapidly while the speaker is not connected and it beeps when the pairing is done. We're not surprised the sound of this small speaker. We must not delude ourselves, given the size of the membrane so do not expect great sound but delivers a nice sound with enough bass. When push the volume we are surprised by the sound power. The sound comes to invading a room of 20 m² without problems. I tested it in the background of a meal with friends and at no time did I feel the need to mute the sound or to use my stereo. No doubt proof that it is pleasant enough to not be annoying as is sometimes the case with extra mini speakers. Note that it comes with a jack for connecting to the headphone output of a computer, tablet or phone (if no Bluetooth) and it recharges via USB (cable supplied). When discharged can listen to music when connected to a computer that recharging simultaneously.
