I bought my shoes in late March for 10 days Northern Norway. War often many hours at night to photograph the Northern Lights at temperatures between -5 to -15 degrees in deep snow on the road. The feet were always warm, I had a good grip even in difficult terrain (not quite but almost as good in my Lowa hiking boots) and they were just super comfortable right from the start. I hardly sweated with good merino socks, consequently virtually no unpleasant odor. Can I absolutely recommend it!
