So Amazon contacted, described problem and get three options for the settlement. Had initially opted for a discount, as a new purchase would again mean 1 to 2 month waiting period and the lamp was indeed technically ok (have the batteries tested in advance). Because the light was great, I wanted to buy a different model. If Ixon goes namely, the illumination for the price is really great!
The discount was dependent on the same day. Great service from Amazon.
But looking forward, unfortunately, too early. The next day, the lamp did not work unfortunately. Batteries or batteries could wrest a glow of Ixon. Just a short flash of light at power was everything. No matter how the battery / batteries lodged - nothing was more.
On this point I must add my voice to my Vorrezensenten: The design of the battery compartment is completely stupid. Why "simple and easy", if one may so invent a complicated mechanism ?!
Has a bit of what a revolver, but unfortunately does not work the Ixon as reliable. Whether contact or electronics problems were the cause, it could not be ascertained.
As mentioned above, the light is really good, but unfortunately the lamp has not often desire to work. Since this is apparently standard on the Busch & Müller Ixon and prefer instead the exchanges Ixon times to revise, I made use of my right to return and the lamp at Amazon gegegben back.
Here again a credit to the fast service from Amazon.
