So the WD I bought as a backup disk. Although it has 9.5 mm, but no longer fits in my T430s. Since apparently not going in plates just to comply with the 9.5 mm so. For WD can not, without question. But the performance as an external disk is underwhelming. Otherwise the drive is okay.
