I bought the instrument as a hygrometer to check the humidity in my home can. This makes the unit entirely to my satisfaction. It can be seen very well and seems to me (for my needs) to be sufficiently accurate. I have made extra-recommended test with the wet towel in the plastic bag and came to the expected 95% humidity. Unfortunately I have no other comparison. The thermometer on the other hand seems to me to indicate a lot about 2 ° C and is therefore not really usable. Since this was not the purpose of my purchase, I give 4 stars anyway.

- Thermometer shows a little too much and is not so easy to read (if you had better be omitted) - Housing is made entirely of plastic (but perhaps to be expected for the price)
